Hey! Anyone else excited about the next meeting? I've
managed to get about 5 Debian 2.2 (Potato) install cd's
burned, and i'm giving em away to anyone who can use
them. Since we're meeting at Project A, I'm assuming
we'll have lots and lots of bandwidth to update a 2.2
installation to a woody distribution, if you like, and
also to install other goodies like netscape, mozilla,
and helix-gnome, since all of that probably totals to
about 50 or 60 mb on top of a 2.2 installation. If you
want to install Linux on your machine, be sure to have
backups made before coming, if you're not so comfortable
with the idea of erasing everything, although I do have
a partition magic rescue floppy you can use to easily
repartition your drive(s) without clobbering data.
